1. Where is the Sleeping Beauty Turquose Mine?
The Sleeping Beauty Turquose Mine is located in Globe, Arizona. The Sleeping Beauty Mountain was originally mined for copper and gold, but for over a decade now, we have been mining some of the best turquoise in the world from this historic area.

2. How can I get a wholesale price list?
In order to get a wholesale price list for rough turquoise, you will need a resale ID#. If you have one, just FAX it to 1-928-425-0638 along with your request for a wholesale price list (please indicate turquoise or jewelry).

3. Do you sell directly to the public?
Yes! A year ago, we remodeled part of our warehouse and opened the True Blue Jewelry Store. Along with offering traditional southwest and contemporary turquoise jewelry, we also tumbled nuggets, gift items and rough turquoise.

4. I would like to purchase some turquoise without making a large investment. What do you recommend?
We have put together a turquoise sample pack to specifically address that need. It costs only $19.95 and comes with 1 - Small Dark Chunk, 2 - 5/8" Blue Chunks, 1 - Small Dark Flat and 4 - 5/16" Blue Chunks. Hobbiest jewelers and collectors alike should find this pack to be an excellent introduction to Sleeping Beauty Turquoise.

5. What is the difference between a flat, a nugget and a chunk?
This is probably the most asked question. Well, here is a basic breakdown...
Nuggets are generally spherical in shape and have an unbroken surface over the majority of the stone.
Flats are wafer-like with their length and width being greater than their thickness.
Chunks are pieces with a relatively even thickness with at least 1 major portion of the center of the rock exposed.

6. Does wholesale turquoise differ in quality from retail turquoise?
No. The turquoise that is offered to the public is the same quality stones that are sold to large dealears world wide.

7. Can I get a free sample?
Unfortunately, no. If we sent free samples to everyone who asked, we wouldn't have any turquoise left to sell. This was one of the reasons we created the Turquoise Sample Pack. It offers a small sample of turquoise for a very low price (only $19.95!)

8. Is Sleeping Beauty Turquoise "natural" turquoise, or has it been treated (stabilized, enhanced, etc)?
When you buy "natural" Sleeping Beauty Turquoise from us, rest assured that it is 100% untreated turquoise direct from the Sleeping Beauty Mountain in Globe, Arizona. We do carry some stabilized and enhanced turquoise, but it is only sold to individuals specifically asking for that type of turquoise.

9. Is the mine open to the public?
At this time, we do not conduct tours of the mine.

10. What color is Sleeping Beauty Turquoise? Does it have any matrix?
Sleeping Beauty Turquoise is a solid stone (no matrix) that ranges in color from Royal Blue to a very light Sky Blue.

11. Do you have a catalog?
If there is something you're looking for that's not shown on this site, let us know. We might have it in our store and if not, we might be able to find it for you.
